Equipment Application

For smelting of plain carbon steel, high-quality carbon steel and various alloy steels. It is applicable to melting with 100% scrap steel, partial scrap steel or hot-metal charging.

Main Features

1. A series reactor is installed in the main circuit to increase system impedance, enabling operation mode of high secondary voltage, long electric arc and low current. It features stable arc and high arc power; on-load tap-changer is adopted during furnace operation. The electric arc furnace is available in left-hand or right-hand operation layout; the furnace roof is of swing-open design with top charging and eccentric bottom tapping (EBT).

2. The furnace body adopts framed full-water-cooled construction; the upper and lower furnace shells are detachable. The furnace roof is concentric tubular water-cooled structure, equipped with carbon-oxygen lance at furnace door and furnace wall burners.

3. Proportional valves control electrode lifting, furnace roof swing and furnace tilting movements.

4. Complete set of PLC & computer control system with graphic monitoring; artificial neural network intelligent electrode regulator control system.
