Application

VD ladle refining furnace is applied for vacuum degassing of molten steel, fine adjustment of alloy composition and argon stirring under vacuum condition.VOD ladle refining furnace realizes oxygen blowing, decarburization, vacuum degassing and alloy trimming under vacuum, which is mainly used for refining ultra-low carbon stainless steel, electrical pure iron and other special steels.

Main Structural Layout

VD/VOD ladle refining furnaces are available in single-station or double-station layout. The vacuum tank can be installed in overhead type or pit-mounted type, as well as car-mounted type; the vacuum lid can adopt swing-open movement or trolley transfer removal mode.

Equipment Composition

VD/VOD unit consists of vacuum tank, vacuum lid lifting mechanism, steel ladle, oxygen lance assembly, vacuum feeding device, temperature measurement & sampling and inspection system, oxygen supply system, argon system, cooling water system and vacuum pumping system.
